Opportunities and Challenges.

What happens every time some new hot technology is announced – it gets branded as the answer to everything and unfortunately it never is. This is what has happened with Blockchain.

It’s not a solution to all problems – it’s a distributed database and needs a lot of surrounding functionality. We’ve seen lots of very “limited” functionality POCs, but not a lot delivered as full blown live applications.

Is the industry heading towards the proverbial trough of disillusionment?

We’re not! We think there’s new spectacular applications to be created. The big issue is to use solid reliable technology and avoid the immature 1st generation technologies.
